The project includes the demolition of the existing wooden roof structure, demolition of the existing concrete structures, construction of a new concrete tank, utility installation, and site improvements. Site Directions: Reservoir 1 is located in the Buffalo Hill Golf Course, north of the cart barns on the west side of the golf course parking lot. Site Address:1176 N Main St Kalispell, MT 59901 Est. Completion Date: Dec. 31, 2025 All bidders shall, as bid security, accompany the bid with: lawful currency of the United States or a cashier's check; or a certified check or bank money order drawn and issued by a national bank located in Montana or by a banking corporation incorporated in Montana; or a bid bond or bonds, executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana. The bid security shall be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Any such bank instrument shall be payable to the City of Kalispell. If a contract is awarded, the bidder whose bond is accepted and who shall thereafter refuse to enter into and execute the proposed contract, or as stated in the covenant, shall absolutely forfeit such moneys or bank instruments to the City, and become immediately liable on said bid bond in said sum. The bid security shall be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. This project is located on property owned by the City of Kalispell. However, the Buffallo Hill Golf Course leases the land from the City, and careful coordination will be necessary to ensure their operations are not disrupted during construction. o General Information - Demolition and removal of existing tank structure - New utility installations - Installation of a new 2.5 MG prestressed concrete tank - Site Improvements o Work Areas - Work and laydown areas are defined on Sheet G-2 and 1-C-6 of the Project Drawings - City negotiated with golf course to move tee box to the west of the work area to gain more work area. - Contractor shall repair any damage to irrigation lines within the construction limits. Golf course will remove sprinkler head but leave the pipe in place. - Contractor shall not block existing golf cart storage facilities - The existing three phase power line will be removed by Flathead Electric prior to construction. Smaller overhead power (owned by the City or Buffalo Hill Golf Course) will be rerouted prior to construction. The contractor is responsible to remove any remaining conductors and/or power poles. - Access the site as shown in the drawings. o Contractor Water - Hydrant Meter Rental - location determined by City staff - $820 security deposit - $8.02 / 1000 gallons with minimum of 10,000 gallons - $40 setting and removal fee & 10% admin fee The last day to submit questions is September 19, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
