Scope of Work: Pull proper permits Strip existing roof shingles Dispose of all stripped shingles and debris into dumpster (provided by vendor - included in quote) Inspect condition of plywood, boarding, fascia and rafters Replace plywood and lead flashing as necessary Inspect ventilation and gutters Clean debris from gutters Nail loose plywood with galvanized nails Install ice and water shield up valleys, eaves and penetrations Wrap roof in synthetic breathable underlayment Install new pipe boots, box vents, end-wall flashing Install drip edge, entire project (5in) Install GAF HDZ lifetime shingle system Vendor should be aware that this is a public building with foot traffic in/out regularly. As such, the walkways should be kept clear of debris and trip hazards. The town is able to redirect traffic to different doors when necessary. Vendor should place tarps or other protective measures to prevent damage to landscaping, windows, siding, etc. Per RI General Law, this is a Prevailing Wage project. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the bid is submitted The Town of Richmond reserves the right to reject any/all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept and award the bid to the lowest qualified bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Town of Richmond. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in the proposals received and to accept the proposal deemed to be most favorable to the best interests of the Town.
