Harrison Street and 15th Street Traffic Signal Replacement Plan The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the Harrison Street & 15th Street Traffic Signal Replacement Plan. Proposed improvements include removing the existing traffic signal equipment at W 15th Street and installing a new traffic signal at this intersection. There is an alternate bid item to remove the existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection of W 16th Street, restore disturbed sidewalk, repair an existing ornamental light pole, and install new ornamental light fixtures on one pole. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by June 1, 2025, unless modified by Change Order. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day Question Deadline 09/27/2024 at 9:00 AM CT Questions are due to the Purchasing Division no later than the time indicated.
