The overall project consists generally of the construction of a 9,936 square foot (108x92) single floor pre-engineered steel building for police vehicle storage. General Construction work includes foundation and building shell. The mechanical work includes the installation of four (4) gas heaters, exhaust fans and gas lines as indicated on plan sheets M-1 & M-2. The electrical work includes the installation of interior and exterior lights, and receptacles for the garage area, office, bathroom, and equipment room as indicated on plan sheets E-1, E-2, & E-3. The plumbing work is for water service and sanitary lines which includes floor drains for the main garage and wash bay along with bathroom fixtures as indicated on plan sheets P-1 & P-2. Each contractor will be expected to coordinate with the separate trades (MEPs), the general contractor, and owner. The MEP work is to being competitively bid by the Township due to separation of trade requirements. Site work may be bid separately by the Township after building construction Each bid shall be made on the form provided in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount made payable to Adams Township furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania The Police Garage General Construction is currently contracted and under construction by W.K. Thomas & Associates, General Contractors with a November 24, 2024, date of substantial completion Adams Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract in the best interest of Adams Township
