The work at Magnolia Park located at 1401 Middlebrook Way, Rohnert Park is described generally as crack repair and resurfacing of existing tennis courts. The work at Sunrise Park located at 5301 Synder Lane, Rohnert Park is described generally as a complete reconstruction of the existing courts, including new asphalt courts, site furnishings, fencing and sports court lighting, and installation of a storm water bioretention feature. The Contractor must have a valid California contractor's license, a Class A license. The Engineer's estimate for this Project is $2M to $2.3M. Contractor shall complete work at Magnolia Park by September 13, 2024, unless extended by the City Engineer. Per owner all bid rejected and this will re-bid at a a future time and date TBD. BID OPENING DATE EXTNEDED TO: Monday, July 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM per ADDA 2. The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the City Engineer to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 110 working days of that Notice. Contractor shall complete work at Magnolia Park by September 13, 2024, unless extended by the City Engineer. Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond must be provided within fifteen (15) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. A performance bond and bid bond must also be provided for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The City of Rohnert Park makes no representation or warranty of the condition of the jobsite. All prospective bidders are requested to carefully review the plans and specifications and to examine and conduct tests or otherwise satisfy themselves as to the conditions at the Project site, subject to coordination with the office of the Rohnert Park City Engineer. Except as otherwise indicated in the Instructions to Bidders, bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared on said day and hour and referred to and considered by the City Council at a future City Council meeting. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms furnished by the City, and each bid must include all the items shown on these forms. Substitute forms may be used if specified in this Notice. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The City may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularity in the bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
