This is the City's solicitation process to acquire Design-Build services for a Design-Build project for construction of 12,178 linear feet (LF) (2.31 miles) of 8- & 12-inch Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) water mains to replace existing asbestos cement (AC) water mains. Estimated Bid Value 25,900,000.00 Construction of 7,397 LF (1.40 miles) of new 8-in PVC water mains. Abandonment of approximately 8,165 LF (1.55 miles) of existing AC water mains. This will include relocating the water mains that are in the allies to the streets. Construction of 3,325 LF (0.63 miles) of 8- & 10-inch sewer mains to replace existing vitrified clay (VC) and concrete pipe (CP) sewer mains, including associated laterals, manholes, cleanouts, and other appurtenances. And abandonment of approximately 215 LF (0.04 miles) of existing sewer mains. Re-plumb approximately 423 water services and approximately 20 sewer laterals. Project scope also includes curb ramps, and street restoration. Pavement scope of work will be finalized and approved by the Transportation Department (TD) after 30% Design.
