Reference Number 0000338897 Through this Request for Proposal (this "RFP"), the Town of Rye (TOR) is requesting statements of qualifications, expertise, and pricing ("'proposals") from individuals or firms ("Proposers" or "you(r)") to provide Property Maintenance services on an as needed, "On Call" basis. TOR may award one or more Flexible Service Contracts from this RFP. A Flexible Service Contract is a price agreement to provide a range of services with work authorized through Work Orders (see Section D of this RFP). TOR MAKES NO GUARANTEE OF WORK UNDER A FLEXIBLE SERVICES CONTRACT. Nature of Work: The services requested under a Flexible Services Contract will typically be for projects that are small to medium in size and limited in scope. They generally include work with short deadlines, scopes that may need to be developed quickly and/or require expertise not currently in-house. In some cases, TOR may request work involving complex requirements and multiple tasks. These items will typically require a separate specification and quote. Scope of Services: The range of services which Contractor(s) may be asked to provide includes, but is not limited to, the services listed in Section D of the RFP. All work will be limited to Town Owned properties and Rye Town Park. Properties may be added or deleted as the Town of Rye sees fit.
