Animal Care Services Roof Retrofit Project. Construction Schedule: Funding for this project is budgeted for fiscal year 2023-2024; work to be completed before June 30, 2024. Project Schedule: The project schedule can be in the form of bar charts, Gantt Charts, Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT), or Critical Path Method (CPM). Project schedule included in Contractor's proposal submission can be altered or modified once awarded, as agreed upon by all parties. Schedule should be detailed to include all tasks, milestones, progress meetings, etc., including any sub-contractor tasks (if applicable), and procurement lead-times. The Payment Bond and the Performance Bond shall be in a sum equal to the contract price. If the Performance Bond provides for a one-year warranty a separate Maintenance Bond is not necessary. If the warranty period specified in the contract is for longer than one year a Maintenance Bond equal to 10% of the contract price is required. Bonds shall be duly executed by a responsible corporate surety, authorized to issue such bonds in the State of California and secured through an authorized agent with an office in California. Brief Project Description: Yuba County is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to retrofit the office building and kennel roofs at the Animal Care Services Facility, located at 5245 Feather River Blvd., in Olive hurst. This work is subject to payment of prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1720 et. seq. and 1770 et. seq., which require the payment of prevailing wage rates and the performance on certain "public works" and "maintenance" projects, as defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and if total compensation is $1,000 or more, contractor agrees, to fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws, as applicable. 1.2. Background: The Yuba County Animal Care Services Facility was built in 2003. Current square footage of the building is approximately 4,755 for offices, main lobby, and facility operations. The detached exterior kennel area consists of approximately 1,495 square feet. The current roof is a built-up torch down modified bitumen style roof. Asbestos and lead-based paint are not a concern. Awarded Contractor will receive a copy of the 2023 Asbestos report.
