n July 2024, the Buffalo District moved its Headquarters from 1776 Niagara Street, Buffalo, NY 14207 to 478 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202. As part of this move, the District is in the process of renovating some of the buildings at the former and will ultimately demolish some of the remaining buildings at the former . Contract W912P421C0022 was awarded on 28 Sep 2021 to MJ AND LAND SURVEYING PC. The current contract requires the contractor to complete a 100% to renovate two buildings at the former Headquarters. The Buffalo District intends to issue an out of modification to contract W912P421C0022. The modification will require the contractor to perform all necessary architectural and to prepare preliminary (35%), intermediate (65%), pre-final (95%), and final (100%) (Drawings) and Specifications (P&S) and supporting documents for the of the Demolition of USACE-LRB Buildings 1, 2, 6 & 8 and associated amenities and utility systems elements. The contractor shall also conduct a charrette to discuss the final layout of the reservation. USACE to accomplish this modification in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). Under this authority, may be deemed to be only from the original in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized when it is likely that to any other would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. The current contractor has extensive knowledge of the (especially regarding utilities) that was gained through the current contract and bringing in a new contractor would result in a substantial duplication of cost.
