The successful bidder will install a 50ft CCTV pole along with an outdoor-rated, POE, pan, tilt, and zoom, IP addressable surveillance camera at the intersections of US 321 & Robert C. Jackson Dr and US 411 & Market Place Dr. No bids will be received or accepted after the above specified time for the opening of Bids. Bids submitted after the designated hour will be deemed invalid and rejected. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount of no less than ten percent (10%) of the BID made payable to City of Maryville, OWNER, and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTION FOR BIDDERS. Bidders should submit with their bid all documents referenced in INSTRUCTION FOR BIDDERS section 2.4, as required by TCA Section 50-9-113. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The project herein described as the base bid is to be completed within one-hundred eighty (180) calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run. Please see the Technical Specifications for further scheduling requirements. Liquidated damages for delay of completion of contract will be in accordance with the Agreement (Contract). All bidders must be able to demonstrate before the award of the contract that the proposer (and subcontractors if applicable) has all appropriate licenses and certifications required in the State of Tennessee to perform the Services. This project is funded by the City of Maryville. The Contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local laws and/or regulations. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids. The City of Maryville does not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin in federal or state approved programs, pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d). INTERPRETATIONS All questions about the meaning or intent or the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
