The City of Springdale Water & Sewer Commission of Springdale, Arkansas is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified construction management firms licensed by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board to provide construction manager / general contractor (CM/GC) services for a construction manager at-risk (CMAR) / guaranteed maximum (GMP) project for the Springdale Water Utilities Western Corridor Storage and Transmission Improvements - Contract Section II - Water Transmission Main. The project includes construction of approximately 22,000 linear feet of 48-inch water transmission piping and 3,000 linear feet of 24-inch piping, including valves, bores and road crossings. A portion of the pipeline will be constructed along an existing street scheduled for improvement under a separate project. In this area, temporary road construction and traffic control will be required for pipe installation, and heavy coordination with street construction will be necessary. Therefore, experience with transportation projects in addition to pipeline construction is preferred. All construction management firms intending on submitting an SOQ SHALL register as an RFQ holder by notifying Brenda Larsen, Project Administrator, via e-mail at blarsen@olsson.com. When registering as an RFQ holder, construction management firms shall submit primary contact information including name of firm, primary contact, phone number, and physical address. FAILURE TO REGISTER AS AN RFQ HOLDER MAY RESULT IN YOUR SOQ BEING REJECTED. The Commission encourages all qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit qualifications. The Commission also encourages all construction managers to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs and to waive any informalities in the submittals deemed to be in the best interests of the Commission.
