This project includes the removal and disposal of residuals, including calcium carbonate, from the SWWF South Lagoon, which is currently nearing its capacity. The Contract also covers other enhancements to the South Lagoon. Location - 8601 Southwest 127th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33183 Estimated Range of the Base Bid - $5,237,398 to $6,336,962 not including contingency and dedicated allowances. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Goals are based on the construction estimate plus the 10% Contingency Allowance. This contract has a 0% Community Workforce Program goal. The contractor will need to comply with Section 2-11.17 of the MDC Code, inclusive of all amendments, including the apprentice and on-the-job training requirements. Nothing in this solicitation shall in any way be utilized to request documentation relating to or authorizing consideration of a proposer's social, political, or ideological interests when determining if the proposer is a responsible vendor or give a preference to a proposer based on the proposer's social, political, or ideological interests. The Board of County Commissioners, Miami-Dade County, Florida, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid or to re-advertise for bids. Bids from any person, firm or Corporation in default on other contracts or agreements with the County may be rejected. Failure by the Bidder to satisfy claims on previous contracts with the County may be cause for rejection of his bid. The County reserves the right to postpone or cancel the bid opening at any time prior to the scheduled opening of bids.
