The scope of demolition work includes but is not limited to the following: demolition and removal of existing portions of the roof and associated insulation and substrate materials, roof drains and associated piping, rooftop air handling units and associated equipment, removal and resetting of existing rooftop equipment, removal of ductwork, removal and replacement of existing ceilings, and disconnection of power wiring. The new construction scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: installation of new portions of roofing, insulation and associated substrate materials, roof drains and associated piping, installation of new rooftop air handling units, terminal heating/cooling units and other associated equipment (some of which has been pre-purchased by the University), as well as the installation of dampers and controls, ductwork, diffusers/registers/grilles, duct detectors and final electrical connections Contractors will be pre-qualified to bid based on the following criteria: 1) Insurance and Bonding B+ or higher rating in Bests Key Rating Guide or Federal Treasury Regulations; 2) The scope of the packages of work and the estimated values are as follows General Construction $800,00 - $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
