The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites Certified General Contractors or Certified Building Contractors prequalified by the School Board, pursuant to SREF Chapter 4.1 prior to the Proposal Due Date, to submit a Proposal for: CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR: FACILITY RENOVATIONS AND REPAIRS PROJECT NAME: POLO PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL PROJECT ADDRESS: 11901 LAKE WORTH RD. WELLINGTON, FL 33449 RFP NO.: 24C-013D PROJECT NO.: 2611-7100 ESTABLISHED GMP CONSTRUCTION BUDGET: $3,568,171.00 Description The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for each school identified in this Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER may be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide deferred maintenance, renovation and repairs to school facilities including, but not limited to: ADA and CSIR compliance requirements, renovation, and repair to school facilities including; building envelope items such as exterior doors, gutters and downspouts, water intrusion/waterproof applications, roof repairs; fire alarm panel upgrades; smoke & duct detector replacement; interior finishes such as casework, acoustical ceilings; exterior lighting; HVAC sheet metal-ductwork/outside air dampers; parking lot paving & striping; water fountain and boiler replacement; and other work as may be required by the OWNER. Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements set forth in the Permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 6A-2 and Florida Building Code. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall prepare all Project Documents in accordance with the requirements stated in Department of Education's Chapter 6A-2, SREF and FAC.
