This Project is located at Lot 2 - Canon Perdido Garage, 914 Chapala St., and Lot 10 - Ortega Garage, 621 Anacapa St., in the City of Santa Barbara, and is described as follows: to repair/replace damaged vehicle impact barriers at certain locations in the Lot 2 and 10 parking structures. Existing loose barrier cables at the interior of the structure via re-tensioning or replacement. The work associated with this project involves only repair/replacement in kind of existing elements that have previously been designed to earlier codes. The Project is also located at Downtown Parking Lot 9 at 25 E. Canon Perdido Street, Santa Barbara, CA, 93101, and is described as follows: to repair top deck cracking via a bonded concrete overlay and structural steel retrofit. Existing carbon fiber strips on the top deck will be removed and replaced with a bonded concrete overlay. Underneath the top deck, a structural retrofit will be installed between bays to prevent future cracking on the top deck. Estimated Cost. The estimated construction cost is $319,000. Time for Final Completion. The Project must be fully completed within 70 working days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. City anticipates that the Work willbegin on or about November 6, 2023, but the anticipated start date is provided solely for convenience and is neither certain nor binding.
