Drainage Improvements for Second Street The work will be funded by the Borough of Glen Gardner. The major construction items include: Base Bid: 102 IF 15" RCP; 1 unit type "B" Inlet; 1 unit repair type "B" inlet; 110 SY permanent pavement restoration; 200 SF remove and replace rock retaining wall; 100 SY ditch grading and restoration; and topsoil seed and mulch. Alternate Bid: 25 tons saw cut, clean, tack and install HMA 9.5M-64 variable thickness for leveling course. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, Base Bid Plus Alternate Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. The Borough of Glen Gardner Engineer upon proper one-day advance notice will furnish bidders with a copy of the drawings and Specifications. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Borough of Glen Gardner Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit of the Borough of Glen Gardner.
