As of October 25, 2023, the project will rebid. No definite date for the rebid. Construction remodel/addition for the Oregon Zoo Cascade Building. Please download the ITB for further information. 1. Expand existing Cascade breakroom by removing approximately 18-feet of wall on North side of breakroom as depicted on drawings attached. Install header to span opening as specified. 2. Build wall between existing breakroom and proposed single user restroom. (East wall). Build hard-lid ceiling over restroom with exhaust fan and specified lighting. (Leave access from break room side). Add needed plumbing in newly built wall for kitchen sink in breakroom and plumbing for restroom as specified. Electrical outlets for counter tops as well as one GFI for restroom near sink. Insulate ceiling and new wall. 3. Install new lockers as specified in breakroom as pictured. Five (5) new tables and 20 new chairs will be added (CPCI). New refrigerators (OPOI) (brand and size TBD). Kitchen countertop with sink and hot and cold-water dispenser(specified), upper and lower Laminate cabinets of break room as shown. Dish washer to be installed in lower cabs, (Brand TBD) (CPCI). 2 microwaves (OPOI), Install garbage disposal in sink. 4. Exterior door to be installed on east wall of single-user restroom with ADA-push button opener and indicator lock as specified for single-user restrooms. 5. Single user restroom will consist of one (1) adult changing table, one (1) electric hand dryer, one (1) double flush toilet, and one (1) wall hung sink with hands-free faucet and mirror. Floor will be MMA flake as used in other newly remodeled restrooms. Walls will have white 24"x12" stacked tile with grey-epoxy grout to match cascade main-user restrooms. Paint will be "Brilliant White," Benny Moore, Aura, to match existing restrooms. 6. Paint breakroom walls and ceiling same as single user (as specified). 7. Change existing breakroom lighting, to LED hanging fixtures (as specified). 8. In-fill existing door opening and finish. 9. Add proper amount of electrical and plumbing needed for project (as specified). 10. Other details in specifications and drawings that may not be list in this scope.
