Responders must be willing to enter into the Town of Edgartown's standard form contract, provided as APPENDIX H to the Project Documents. The contract will include the scope of services documentation provided as a part of the bid package. Simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, the Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond in an amount equal to Fifty Percent (50%) of the total Contract Price as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract, and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. The surety on such bond shall be a duly authorized surety company, licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Installation of floating siltation curtain to prevent the dispersion of sediments disturbed by demolition and construction activities. Debris boom and siltation curtain shall be left in place during all pile driving, demolition, and construction activities as required by the included permits and licenses. An Awarding Authority must request an updated wage schedule if it has not opened bids or selected a contractor within 90 days of the date of issuance of the wage schedule. For CM AT RISK projects (bid pursuant to G.L. c.149A), the earlier of: (a) the execution date of the GMP Amendment, or (b) the bid for the first construction scope of work must be within 90-days of the wage schedule issuance date. Each reference shall be no more than 2 pages in length each. The projects should outline if they are municipally funded and executed. This contract includes the furnishing of all equipment, materials, labor and supervision necessary to carry out the installation of a new seawall encasement system in front of the existing stone seawall a North Wharf in Edgartown, MA. The required work shall include but is not necessarily limited. The scope of the work, without limiting the generality thereof, consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the following items of work and all work incidentals thereto as shown on the Drawings and as herein specified.
