The Maryland Port Administration is issuing this IFB in order to procure the services needed for removal and discard of existing unwanted sea fenders from the Dundalk Marine Terminal. The Maryland Port Administration (MPA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure the services defined in this Section 2, as specified in this IFB, from a Contract between the successful Bidder and MPA. The Contract is for removal and discard of existing unwanted sea fenders. See Section 2.3 for Contractor's Responsibilities. MPA intends to make a single award for the work under this IFB. See IFB Section 4.7 Award Basis for more Contract award information. A Bidder, either directly or through its subcontractor(s), must be able to provide all goods and services and meet all the requirements requested in this solicitation and the successful Bidder shall remain responsible for Contract performance regardless of subcontractor participation in the work. It is the Contractor's responsibility to fully evaluate the project and anticipate additional safety and health requirements.
