North Thurston Public Schools, District No. 3, Lacey, WA is requesting statements of qualifications from interested architectural firms to provide planning, design, and construction administration services for the Young Child Family Center (YCFC) future proposed project. The YCFC would combine a state- of- the-art early learning center with a family recreation facility that provides developmentally appropriate recreation activities for youth ages 3-5 and their families. The district plans to make a selection in September for the YCFC project and proceed with conceptual design and programming. Statements of qualifications should include the following: 1. Letter of interest 2. Firm history 3. Relevant k-12 projects completed in the last 10 years with emphasis on public partnerships 4. Key team members, their responsibilities and 3 references each 5. List of all current projects and current phase of project with % complete 6. Understanding of working with multiple agencies including but not limited to North Thurston Public Schools, City of Lacey Parks, YMCA, Thurston County Library, etc. 7. Cost control strategies used to maintain budget; specifically, how bid award is achieved at the district specified MACC 8. Capacity and strategies for managing projects on a time critical schedule specifically completing bid documents by the end of December 2024. 9. Capacity and strategies to prepare multiple phasing plans 10. Experience with low bid project delivery method environment (not GCCM) The district will conduct interviews with one or more interested firms.
