Description: Dorchester County is seeking bids from qualified and experienced firms who specialize in the business of fencing and gate construction, replacements, and repairs for chain link fencing (galvanized and vinyl coated) for projects/sites throughout the County. Currently, fencing needs to be replaced at three separate sites (see attached project sites and descriptions); however, the County may have further need for fencing throughout the year. The County intends to award a contract with a term of 1 year with the option to renew for up to 4 additional 1-year terms. Question Deadline: 7/28/2023 5:00 PM Any subcontractor must comply with the regulations promulgated in the South Carolina Contractor s Licensing Board as enforced by the South Carolina Licensing Board for Contractors. The County reserves the right to 1) reject any or all bids and any part of a bid; 2) waive informalities, technical defects, and minor irregularities in bids received; and 3) award the bid(s) received on the basis of individual items or groups of items or the entire list of items. The Contractor agrees to perform and furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary for the completion of the Work required under this Contract in a professional, timely manner, in accord with all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
