The SCSD Camera/Surveillance System will be installed in all schools in the district, including the Forest/Scott County Career Technology Center. The purpose of the camera/surveillance system is surveillance (safety, security, social distancing, social training, and other necessary reasons). Scope of the SCSD Camera/Surveillance System: This should be a service based NVR on all 9 campuses. The cameras and the monitor shall be placed at the principal's request. The NVR and camera shall be of the same manufacture and use VMS Software. All camera's shall be 4k resolution and motorized with a lens of 3mm to 12mm and be NADA compliant. Every building that has cameras installed shall have a 16 port POE (at a minimum). There shall be no wiring linking buildings, and all old HD wiring shall be removed by the winning bidder. Here are some points of interest: 1. The SCSD will provide a VLAN to you. 2. The cabling used will be black. 3. All old wiring and camera apparatus must be removed. 4. The SCSD will allow work to be performed during the school day (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). However, work should cease during class changes or when students are in the general area. Work may also be performed after hours. 5. Work areas and supplies must be secure at all times. 6. You may contact school principals for permission to walk through their campus.
