Installation of a new water treatment plant at the City's Enterprise Well 12, at 5080 Old Oregon Trail, to reduce arsenic, iron, and manganese into the City's water system. In general, the work will include procurement and installation of a Greensand Filter, a chemical storage and feed facility, an above grade bolted steel tank, construction of a new mechanical building, sludge dewatering facilities, associated piping and electrical improvements, and offsite storm drain and sewer improvements. Contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time bid is opened. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified or cashier's check, or original bidder's bond made payable to the City of Redding for an amount equal to at least 10% of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that the contractor will execute the contract in conformance with his proposal and the specifications.
