MnDOT requests responses for State Project 4813-18 is a roundabout construction project including reconstruction & resurfacing, access changes, Americans with Disability Act (ADA), and lighting which is currently being developed for a March 27th, 2026 letting. The project is located at the intersection of US 169 and MN 27 from R.P. 215+00.880 to 216+00.400 in South Harbor Township north of Onamia. This contract will provide the biddable final plans, specification and estimates required to bring the project to letting on time and within budget including all State and Federal approvals. MnDOT anticipates posting answers to all questions received by 2:00PM Central Daylight Time on 07/05/2023. No other MnDOT personnel are allowed to discuss this announcement before the letter of interest submission deadline. Contact regarding this announcement with any personnel not listed above could result in disqualification. Responders must provide the following statement and signature: I hereby recognize that a 12% TGB goal has been established for this announcement in accordance with the Special Provisions posted with the announcement. I understand that MnDOTs Office of Civil Rights is required to clear the successful responders attainment of the goal, or Good Faith Efforts made to attain the goal, before a contract can be awarded. I understand that failure to meet the goal, or show a Good Faith Efforts to meet the goal, will deem the successful responder as non-responsive, resulting in rejection of the letter of interest MnDOT reserves the right to immediately terminate the contract if the successful responder is not in compliance with the insurance requirements and retains all rights to pursue any legal remedies against the successful responder. All insurance policies must be open to inspection by MnDOT, and copies of policies must be submitted to MnDOTs Authorized Representative upon written request.
