Project cancelled, no update on if it will rebid at this time. The reconstruction of a portion of the Brazos County Expo Complex includes the following: 1. Remove and dispose of existing asphalt pavement. 2. Raise grade of one (1) storm sewer inlet. 3. Install 4" +/- cement stabilized level up sand and related dirt work/subgrade to achieve proposed pavement elevations. 4. Replace asphalt with reinforced concrete (1,575 SY) and related monolithic curb. 5. Adjustment of existing concrete manhole top and metal cover to proposed pavement. 6. Miscellaneous items include traffic control and pavement striping. Deadline for Questions Thursday, June 30, 2023 at 5:00 PM CST Due to this being an event complex with a busy schedule, the contractor can only do construction from July 31st through September 6 All bidders must submit, with proposal, a cashier's check or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the order of Brazos County or a Bid Bond in the same amount issued by a surety, acceptable to Brazos County, authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as a guarantee that the Bidder will do the work described herein at the rates stated herein. Unsuccessful bidder's Cashier's Check or Certified Check will be returned after a written request to do so has been received by the Purchasing Agent. The successful bidder must provide to the Purchasing Department, a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total contract sum within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of notification of bid award. The County reserves the right to accept or reject in part or in whole, any proposals submitted, and to waive any technicalities for the best interest of the County
