Contractor shall be informed that Cherry Valley & Point of Woods are Raw Sewage Pump Stations within Cherry Hill, NJ. In general, the scope of this contract is at both pump stations, the removal of the manual bar screen and the providing of a raw sewage grinder system. The Source of Funding for this Project will include American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) - State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). In general, the work on this project consists of the removal of the existing manual trash basket system and the furnishing and installation of new mechanical grinder systems in the existing Cherry Valley & Oint of Woods Pump Stations for Cherry Hill Township. At each pump station the work of this project consists of the following: A. The scope of this contract is limited to equipment supply, installation, and start-up for the furnishing and installation of a new mechanical grinder system. Cherry Hill has standardized on the Muffin Monster unit, and this should be the basis of bid. If an alternate mechanical grinder is proposed, the proposed credit would be discussed post bid. B. The contractor will be responsible to supply, test, and install all the required work to upgrade the electrical and control systems and install the new mechanical grinder. Existing components should be reused where applicable and spares if any should be returned to Cherry Hill.
