The FY 2022 NJDOT Trust Fund Improvements to Chapel Avenue project involves improvements to Chapel Avenue between Kings Highway (NJSH Rt 41) and King George Road located in the Township of Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. The roadway resurfacing will include milling of the existing hot mix asphalt pavement up to 6" or less. Hot mix asphalt pavement repairs prior to overlay will be completed at various locations as directed by the engineer, and the installation of three (3) inches of hot mix asphalt surface course 9.5M64. 2. The installation of concrete vertical curb, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveways, and stormwater improvements as detailed in the specifications. 3. The installation of ADA ramps at various locations as directed by the engineer. The township council reserves the right to reject all proposals Pursuant to n.J.S.A. 40a:11-13.2 (rejection of bids) and to waive such Minor informalities as may be permitted by law. Attach bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. The bidder whose bid is accepted shall furnish to the Owner, a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, or a combination performance and labor and material payment bond, and upon final completion of the work, a two (2) year maintenance bond, each in the amount of 100% of the final contract price. NJDOT Prequalification : The contractor shall be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as specified on the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PREQUALIFICATION form in the PROPOSAL SECTION. The contractor is required to obtain NJDOT and County Road Opening Permit for any work within their respective right-of-ways and pay all applicable fees. Payment will not be made for the permit acquisition or the fee, but the cost shall be covered under the various items of the proposal.
