**As of September 11, 2023, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF the furnishing of all materials, labor and equipment for the construction of a 0.055 mi two-lane curb & gutter roadway section and all associated work including, but not limited to, grading, drainage, paving, and curb & gutter. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Documents Holder as defined in Article 1 of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are encouraged to only secure project bid documents as noted above. Neither the City of Shelby nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any Addenda, obtained from any source other than the Engineer and their representative plan provider, QuestCDN. Each Bidder shall be responsible for the review of all addenda for the project and shall acknowledge the addenda on the bid form. 5. The City of Shelby, North Carolina reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. Questions received less than 7 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
