PCMS Paving - Douglas Asphalt - $165,272.50 BES Paving - Douglas Asphalt - $185,187.50 New Parking Lot & Spaces at PCMS - Douglas Asphalt - $42,895.00 General scope 1. Provide all materials and labor for the repair and leveling as required, and application of 1.5" of new hot melt asphalt topping over approximately 138,756 sqft of existing asphalt parking and driveways at PCMS as specified in attached drawings. Also remove approximately 13,521 sqft of existing asphalt in areas at PCMS as indicated on drawing. These areas shall be leveled with new topsoil as needed, and seed applied. 2. Provide all materials and labor for the repair and leveling as required, and application of 1.5" of new hot melt asphalt topping over approximately 156,532 sqft of existing asphalt parking and driveways at BES as specified in attached drawings. All layout and re-striping of parking spaces, driveway, directional lane indication markers, and handicap spaces shall be included. The numbers listed and shown on the drawings are believed to be accurate, however it is the responsibility of the contractor to verify all material quantities for the submission of their bid. Pierce County School System is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the resurfacing of the parking lots and driveways at Pierce County Middle School, and Blackshear Elementary School. All work must be completed by July 31, 2023. The Pierce County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals for any or all products covered in this Bid and to waive informalities or defects in submissions to accept such Bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Board
