Water Treatment Plant. The work, in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by Stantec Consulting Services Inc., consists of the major items of work including construction of a new water treatment facility, site utilities, and well equipment. Project consists of the construction of a new gravity filtration water treatment plant. The base bid facility includes two filter cells, a single aerator, a detention tank and channel, clearwell, backwash tank with raw water recovery and sludge conveyance, chemical storage and feed systems, high service and backwash pumping, media air washing system, production well equipment, SCADA and electrical systems, standby generator, site utilities including water, sewer, and storm, office and laboratory space, storage room, bathroom facilities, tank overflows and outflow structure, site grading, landscaping, irrigation, and stormwater retention. Work includes clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation, dewatering, backfilling, concrete, masonry, paving, process equipment, interior and underground piping, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and correlated items.
