Award amount is $479,878.95** The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Base Bid the milling and resurfacing of Semel Avenue from Prospect Street to Midland Avenue including the upgrading of ADA curb ramps, spot curb, sidewalk, and driveway replacement, and minor drainage improvements. Also included is the sealing of existing concrete pavement joints. Alternate Bid the sawing and sealing of joints in the new hot mix asphalt overlay of Semel Avenue from Prospect Street to Midland Avenue. Concrete Driveway, 6" Thick . 2,230 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb . 12,500 L.F. Sealing Existing Joints in Concrete Pavement Alternate Bid:. . 12,500 L.F. Sawing and Sealing Joints in Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 90 calendar days of notice to proceed. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder.
