The Edina City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021, to consider said bids. The Following Are Approximate Major Quantities: 12-36" Storm Sewer Pipe 3,000 Lf 6" Watermain Hdpe (Hdd And Pipeburst) 1,000 Lf 8" Storm Sewer Hdpe (Hdd) 600 Lf 6" Sump Drain Pipe 6,300 Lf Replace Hydrants And Gate Valves 19 Ea 1" Type K Copper Water Service 10 Ea 8-9" Sanitary Cipp Lining 5,100 Lf Full Depth Reclamation 20,000 Sy Common Excavation 7,000 Cy Concrete Curb & Gutter 11,800 Lf Bituminous Paving 3,900 Tons Organic Topsoil Borrow / Turf Establishment 8,600 Sy For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds will also be accepted through Surety2000 using contract #7702057. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Edina in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, the engineer will view bids at the Public Works and Park Maintenance Building 7450 Metro Blvd Edina MN 55439. Results will be posted immediately following the opening. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion thereof.
