Widen the east and west bound approaches on Hilfiker Lane SE to allow construction of left-turn lanes and bike lanes in both directions. Replace existing traffic signal with a modern signal, extend fiber optic traffic signal interconnect system; construct new curbs, ADA compliant sidewalks and curb ramps; construct storm sewer system improvements, including water quality swales; and pavement grinding and overlay within the project limits. Complete all Work to be done under the Contract as specified in 00180.50 no later than November 30, 2024. Pursuant to ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870, bids exceeding $50,000 are subject to both the applicable Oregon prevailing wage rate law (BOLI) and the federal Davis Bacon Wage Rate Act (40 U.S.C.3141 et seq.), and any amendments in effect at the time of solicitation. Every person who installs electrical systems on the Project shall submit a copy of their electrical license or apprentice registration to the Engineer prior to performing any Work. They must be licensed as an S or a J under Oregon Administrative Rule 918-282 The City of Salem City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
