The City is seeking to retain three (3) design professionals to provide as-needed airport design services to support the City of San Diego's Department of Real Estate and Airport Management. This RFP is subject to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other environmental, economic, and civil rights authorities. Refer to Attachment B, Exhibit J for additional information. Under the general supervision of the City Mayor or his designated representatives, the selected design professional shall provide as-needed professional civil engineering services by Task Orders on an hourly basis for projects the City will be performing over a period of five (5) years in support of the City's two general aviation airports. Such services are set out more fully in Exhibit A to the Draft Agreement (Attachment B to this RFP), and shall include, but are not limited to the following: Airport related design/engineering and development services in accordance with applicable FAA guidance and Advisory Circulars and Project design services for FAA, State grant eligible, other grant funded projects, and/or Airport Management Enterprise funded projects.
