Reference Number 0000356757 Job Location: Fort Collins, CO The Contract Documents provide for the construction of Bid 10023 Lee Martinez Farm Tack Shed. The scope of this Project consists of adding a new roof structure to the existing Tack Shed, new doors to the Tack Shed, and creating an ADA pathway to the structure per Exhibit A - Project Specifications, Exhibit B - Geotechnical Investigation Report and Exhibit C - 100% Construction Documents. The Project also includes upgrading the current lighting and control system that complies with the City of Fort Collins Dark Skies initiative. It is the intent to start this Project as soon as October 28th, 2024. The City anticipates the Project duration to be approximately (4)-(8) weeks. However, the City encourages the awarded Contractor to initiate the Project without delay and complete the Project within the projected duration. But to allow for adverse weather conditions the City has extended the Substantial and Final Completion dates to March 14, 2025, and March 28, 2025. The City will not pay for additional expenses related to winter weather conditions. Responses to all questions submitted before the deadline will be addressed in an addendum and posted on online. Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total Bid must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of ninety (90) days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
