Project scope includes but is not limited to the Installation of Seven (7) Fabric Shade Structures. Three (3) 20'x20'x12' , Four (4) 14'x14'x12' , and One (1) 21' Wide, 5-Row Aluminum Bleacher. Fabrication and delivery of the shade structures is by the Manufactuer. The site contractor is responsible for the off-loading & assembly/ installation of the shade structures, preparation of the site, including associated embedded single post foundations, and associated site work as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. Rio LInda High School Baseball/Softball Fabric Shade Structures Project Location: 6309 Dry Creek Road Rio Linda, CA 95673 The successful bidder shall commence work with the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and per the project schedule referenced below. The District has established a liquidated damage rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day for each and every calendar day that the work remains fully uncompleted or unaccepted by the District. Start Date: Construction November 11, 2024 Substantial Completion Date April 18, 2025 Contract Completion (Closeout) June 30, 2025 Prime Contractor bidders shall be required to have a valid Class "A" or "B" Contractor's License. Bids must be from an appropriately licensed contractor and must be sealed. Interested bidders must be appropriately licensed. Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids or in the bidding.
