Project scope includes but is not limited to the relocation and refurbishment of two (2) 24x40 portable classroom buildings from Fairbanks Elementary School to Dry Creek Elementary School, including preparation of the building pads, electrical service, fire alarm, low voltage data, security, and building management systems, and additional site improvements as shown in the project documents and as required for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours (contingent on Distance Learning), and after normal school hours and on weekends when/if school resumes to inperson learning. Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the District, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120.
