Each bid shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the President and Secretary. Each bidder shall require a Certified check, bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The Finance Director reserves the right to reject all bids or parts of bids for any one or more supplies or contractual services included in the proposed contract, when the public interest will be served. The City of Parkersburg Does Not Discriminate on the Basis of Disability in the Admission or Access to, or Employment in, Its Programs or Activities. Within ten (10) days after the successful bidder receives the Notice of Award, he shall perform the following transactions: (1) Sign the contract in quadruplicate. (2) Furnish the Performance Bond with Sureties. (3) Furnish the Payment Bond with Sureties. (4) Furnish documentary evidence of compliance with all insurance requirements. (5) Furnish Subcontracting Request form when subletting any portion of contract work. Contractor may not sublet more than fifty percent of total contract amount.
