The proposed project will consist of asbestos abatement at 2 adjoining commercial structures consisting of roof material, roof flashing, caulk, floor tiles and mastic. PROJECT LOCATIONS 100 E. Maple St. & 204 N. Cedar Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 The Village of New Lenox reserves the right to reject any or all bids If you have any questions, please call 815-462-6400. Notice of Award Issued October 15, 2024 Final Completion (no later than) November 19, 2024 The bid form shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee bond provided by a guarantee company, authorized to conduct business in the State of Illinois, or alternatively, by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Village of New Lenox in the sum of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid price. The amount payable to the Village under the bid guarantee bond and/or the certified or cashier's check, and the amount thereof, shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages in case of a failure or neglect of the bidder to furnish, execute, and deliver to the Village the performance and/or payment bonds (if required), evidence of insurance, and to enter into, execute, and deliver to the Village the Agreement on the form provided herewith, within ten (10) calendar days after receiving written notice from the Village that the award has been made and the Agreement is ready for execution.
