Colusa County is requesting bids (RFB) from licensed contractors for the procurement and installation of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) for the Health and Human Services building, located at 251 E. Webster Street, Colusa, CA. Question Deadline 09/30/2024- 2.00 P.M. Any questions regarding this RFB can be submitted to the Public Purchase Website This is a public works project subject to Department of Industrial Relations registration and payment of prevailing wage. The bid must be made on the bid forms furnished by the County. Each bid shall be enclosed and submitted in a sealed envelope, bearing the project name, the bidder's name, contractor's license number, DIR number with expiration date. The County of Colusa reserves the right to reject any bids. The County of Colusa is seeking a flooring contractor (C-15 license) to install approximately 1,900 square feet of flooring with rubber base at the Health and Human Services building located at 251 E. Webster Street, Colusa, Ca. (Refer to building layout on following page). Phase 1 has been completed. This RFB is only for Phase 2. Contractor will be responsible for procuring and installing new glue down LVT in specified areas throughout the building. Contractor will be responsible for the prep of all sub floor areas that will be receiving new flooring and disposing of old materials. Contractor will provide and install Interface LVT, Level Set Collection, Natural Woodgrains, A00207 Washed Wheat with sound choice backing, Contractor will remove all existing rubber base and install new rubber base molding throughout the building where all new flooring is installed. New rubber base shall be: Tarkett Rubber Wall Base Style: Dura Cove Color: TA4 Gateway Size: 4 1/2 If applicable, contractor will move furniture in office areas (excluding cubicles) to provide access to install the flooring. Staging areas can be designated in advance for furniture during installation. County will be responsible for having the cubicles removed and re-installed. A mandatory job walk prior to the start of job is necessary to establish a schedule of he areas and timeline for department staff to plan accordingly. Prior to the start of the project, employees will be directed to remove all personal items. Contractor must be vigilant to maintain a safe and clean work area. A portion of the facility will maintain normal business hours. Contractor will coordinate with the painting contractor to ensure the phases ofthe project are completed efficiently. Upon completion, there will be a job walk. Any issues will be noted and addressed prior to final approval and issue of a job completion form
