The Contractor shall supply all Labor, Materials and Equipment required or necessary to complete the work called out in the contract documents and to be aware that this contract will require the following portions of work to be completed related to the E.P. FOSTER ANNEX STUCCO REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT. Scope of work for the Annex Building at E.P Foster includes the removal and replacement of exterior stucco, building paper, vent screeds, and wood trim according to all work shown or indicated on the Flewelling and Moody Drawings dated 6/17/2024 containing 6 plans sheets of work to be completed. Work is to be completed during the Fall 2024 Session of School as follows 1. Job Walk on September 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the E.P Foster Annex Building 2. Bid Date will be October 1, 2024, at 3:00pm 3. Tentative Award Date depending on Board Approval will be October 25th, 2024 4. Job Start Date will be October 25th, 2024 5. Abatement to take place October 25th, 2024 to November 2nd, 2024 6. Final project completion will be January 31 st 2025. For Foster Annex Stucco Removal & Replacement Each bid shall be accompanied by the bid security of cash, a cashiers or certified check, U.S. money order, or bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid made payable to Ventura Unified School District. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to have sureties satisfactory to the Ventura Unified School District. In addition, if components of the Project will be performed by electrical, mechanical, or plumbing subcontractors performing under the following license classification(s), then each of those subcontractors that intend to bid as a first -tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to have been prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C42, C-43, and/or C-46 The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or accept any bid if such action is in the best interest of the District
