The City of The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed firms for the construction of 28 ADA Ramps along N. Salem Road in Fayetteville. The work will require demolition and removal of existing curb and gutter and sidewalk to allow for the installation of the new ramps. Miscellaneous items include moving street lights, adjusting water valves to grade and signage. Question Deadline 10/04/2024 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: THE WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO The construction of 28 ADA Ramps along N. Salem Road. The work will require demolition and removal of existing curb and gutter and sidewalk to allow for the installation of the new ramps. Miscellaneous items include moving street lights, adjusting water valves to grade and signage. WORK SEQUENCE: A. General: Construction sequence shall be determined by Contractor subject to Owner's need for continuous operation of existing facilities, and subject to the requirements as indicated or specified. B. Continuous Service of Existing Facilities: Exercise caution and schedule operations to ensure that functioning of present facilities will not be disrupted. Shutdown of Owner's operating facilities to perform the Work shall be held to a minimum length of time and shall be coordinated with Owner who shall have control over the timing and schedules of such shutdowns. 1.07 PREORDERED EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS: None. 1.08 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT: A. Unit Price Contracts: All Work indicated on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents shall be included in the "Unit Price Schedule" in the Agreement. A Unit Price is an amount proposed by Contractor and stated in the Agreement as a price per unit of measurement for materials or services. B. Specific Items: Measurement and payment of specific items shall be as specified in each applicable Section of the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. 1.09 COPIES OF DOCUMENTS: A. Furnished Copies: After execution of Agreement, Contractor will be furnished at no cost, a maximum of three (3) sets of Contract Documents consisting of full-size Contract Drawings including revised Drawings and the Project Manual, in addition to those used in execution of the Agreement. B. Additional Copies: Additional copies of above documents will be supplied byEngineer upon request of Contractor and approval of Owner.
