As of September 19,2024, project was on hold since no bidders were received. No definite date for the rebid. The City of The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed firms for Fayetteville City Hall's HVAC improvements. This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of the existing selfcontained modular air handlers, boiler, cooling tower, split systems (indoor and outdoor units), vav boxes, and associated mechanical equipment along with existing associated electrical equipment serving the existing building site with new equipment. Questions regarding this bid should be addressed to Amanda Beilfuss, Sr. Purchasing Agent at abeilfuss@fayettevillear.gov. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond for five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and separate payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License and registration with the Arkansas Secretary of State are required and both shall be valid and current at the time of bid deadline. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of any Contract for a period which shall not exceed beyond ninety (90) days from the bid opening date.
