The 2024 Asphalt Streets Project consists of full depth asphalt pavement repair and surface milling and overlay for various portions of existing asphalt roadways in the Town of Double Oak, TX. Streets included in this project are as follows: Kings Rd, Lake Trail Drive, Oakview Drive, Twin Lakes Drive, and Valley View Trail. The work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, site preparation, traffic control, paving operations, and added alternate drainage improvements. Paving operations scope of work includes full depth asphalt pavement repair for all streets, and areas of 2-inch mill and overlay for Kings Road. The project consists of approximately 1,073 LF of roadway, 1,870 SY of full depth of full depth repair, 866 LF concrete ribbon curb, and 798 SY of 2-inch milling with asphalt overlay. Estimate: $410,000 Question Deadline 09/30/2024 at 5:00 PM CT. A Bid Bond in the form of a cashier's check, a certified check, or an acceptable bidder's bond made payable without conditions to the "Town of Double Oak, Texas" in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted, must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required. No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within One-hundred Twenty (120) Days After the Date on Which Bids Are Opened. The Town Reserves the Right to Accept the Bid Which, in Its Judgment is the Lowest Responsible Bid; to Reject Any or All Bids; and to Waive Irregularities or Informalities in Any Bid Submitted.
