The City of High Point seeks a qualified contractor to drill pier steel-pole foundations for the 100kV line from Penny Road Substation to Deep River Substation. There are a total of twenty five (25) steel-reinforced cast-in-place concrete drilled pier foundations. Pier diameters range in size from 5.0 to 8.0 feet in diameter. Embedded depths vary from 15.5 to 35.0 feet. Drill pier foundations within Deep River Substation. There are a total of fifteen (15) steel-reinforced castin-place concrete drilled pier foundations. Pier diameters range in size from 2.0 to 2.5 feet in diameter Embedded depths vary from 13.0 to 15.25 feet. a deposit with the City of High Point of a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. A separate performance and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required after bid award.
