The Project Consists of, but is Not Limited to, Construction of a New Asphalt Drive Off La 1, a New Gravel Parking Lot and General-use Area, Clearing and Grubbing, Removal of an Existing Asphalt Drive Off La 1, Excavation and Embankment, Permanent Pavement Marking and Signage, Temporary Signs and Barricades, Landscaping, Hydro-seeding, Tubular Barrier Double Gate, and Other Related Items Thereto. To Bid and Perform Work Covered by These Documents, the Bidder Must Be a Louisiana Licensed Contractor With a Classification Ii Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Bid Security Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Shall Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check as Prescribed by La Rs 38:2218 Must Be Attached to and Made a Part of the Bid. If a Bid Bond is Provided It Shall Be on the Provided Form and Only on the Provided Form. Bid Bonds Must Be Written by a Qualified Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond Written by a Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount Pursuant to the Requirements Noted in L.r.s. 38:2219 a. (1)(a), (B), and (C). No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After Actual Date of the Opening Thereof.
