The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids for the rehabilitation of the Pratt Sanitary Sewer Lift Station. Work includes but is not limited to removal of existing and installation of replacement materials including but not limited to submersible waste water pumps; guide rail systems; base elbows with extension stands; electrical conduit, wiring, and receptacles; valve vault and wet well piping and valves; concrete surfaces and control enclosure pad; wet well lining by others (Village's lining vendor); bypass pumping during construction; bypass pumping during wet well lining by others; asphalt driveway and concrete curb & gutter; and other appurtenant work necessary to complete the project within Village limits all in accordance with the enclosed Specifications and Contract Document PW-2425-12. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Plans included with this document. This project is located within the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois. The Pratt Sanitary Lift Station is located at 1932 Pratt Blvd., approximately 1,280' east of Busse Road, on the north side of Pratt Blvd. All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. For questions concerning the project, please contact the Public Works Department at 847-734-8800. . Once the prequalification form is reviewed and approved by the Village an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s).
