Scope of Work: Construction of the Oxford Road Drainage & Sidewalk Project and the City of Casselberry's Water Main Replacement Project Phase I in English Estates Residential Community, per the detailed scope and plans attached. All Bids shall remain firm for ninety (90) Days after the day of the Bid opening, but COUNTY may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to that date. The project time shall be 565 calendar days to substantial completion and another 30 calendar days to final completion for a total project time of 595 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The Engineer's estimate for the project is $7,014,385.44. Question Submission Deadline: September 23, 2024, 5:00pm. Bidders are required to advise the COUNTY, in writing via the Q&A tab on the COUNTY's at online. Bid Security shall be made payable to COUNTY, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Total Bid and in the form of a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond issued by a Surety meeting the requirements of these Bid Documents. Bid Security is submitted with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw its Bid for a period of at least ninety (90) days after the closing time for receipt of Bids. By mutual agreement of the COUNTY and an Apparent Low Bidder, the Bid acceptance period may be extended for a period longer than ninety (90) days.
