The Work specified in the “Scope of Services” generally consists of procurement of materials, installation, miscellaneous concrete work and restoration, along with all required Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) following FDOT standard specifications and all necessary Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Best Management Practices (BMPs) required by local jurisdictions for stormwater restoration improvements efforts as a result of post hurricane damage. The City of Casselberry (CITY/OWNER) has identified two (2) locations within the City that requires stormwater restoration improvement efforts as a result of post hurricane damage. These areas fall within the Gee Creek and Howell Creek basins. The location within the Gee Creek Basin is designated as Carriage Hill Outfall. The location within the Howell Creek Basin is designate as Carmel by the Lake. The proposed restoration activities include, but are not limited to the installation of gabion slope stabilization and reinforcement systems, vertical sheet pile, the extension to existing stormwater drainage system and outfall reconstruction and stabilization. The Work specified in the “Scope of Services” includes procurement of materials, installation, miscellaneous concrete work and restoration, along with all required Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) following FDOT standard specifications and all necessary SWPPP/BMPs required by local jurisdictions. The CONTRACTOR for this Project must perform at least fifty-five percent (55%) of the work with its own forces. The engineering cost estimate for the base bid of this project, which excludes the bid alternative, is $131,710.00 for Carriage Hill location and $817,582.00 for Howell Creek(Carmel by the Lake) location for a collective total estimate of $949.292.00. The basis for award shall be the base bid for both locations. To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, each Bidder must submit information including but not limited to financial data, previous experience including references and evidence of authority to conduct business in the State of Florida. This information must be provided with the Bid submittal.
