FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Products and Commercial Services (SEP 2023) proposal and question due dates and times are administratively corrected This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested in response to this notice. Project Description: The purpose of this multiple award IDIQ contract is to secure services for the felling, delimbing, and bucking of hazard trees, pruning of hazardous tree branches, machine/hand piling of slash, stacking of tree boles, chipping of tree boles and slash, and/or hauling away of tree boles and slash material. All work will occur in developed recreation sites, administrative sites, trailheads, day use areas, and other areas located on National Forest lands in Arizona and New Mexico (Region 3 Southwestern Region). Place of Performance: Project locations within USFS Region 3 will be defined at the Task Order level This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and any resulting contract(s) cover two (2) USFS Region 3 Service Areas as follows: Arizona Service Area: Apache-Sitgreaves, Coconino, Coronado, Kaibab, Tonto, and Prescott National Forests New Mexico Service Area: Carson, Cibola, Gila, Lincoln, and Santa Fe National Forests Interested offerors may submit a proposal for one or both of the service area(s). Contract Period of Performance: the anticipate period of performance consists of one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Contract Type: The Government anticipates four (4) IDIQ awards under this multiple award IDIQ contract. More than or fewer than four (4) IDIQ awards may be issued, if it is determined to be in the Government's best interest to do so. Set Aside: Total Small Business Instructions to Offerors: Offerors are instructed to read the entire Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and its supporting documents, attached to this notice, prior to submitting questions and/or submitting a proposal. Deadline for Questions: Questions must be submitted via email no later than 1500 PDT on 06 September 2024. Question submittals should include the solicitation number in the subject of the email. Deadline for Proposals: Proposals are due no later than 1700 PDT on 20 September 2024. Proposals recieved after this deadline may not be considered for award. Proposal submittals must include the solicitation number in the subject of the email. The Contractor is responsible for verifying receipt of proposal by the solicitation Point of Contact.
